Johnny Depp Admits Amber Heard is 'Putting Up With Me;' Is His Wife Still A Bisexual?
There are speculations that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's marriage may be headed down the drain.
Rumors that divorce is looming for the couple sparked as the "Edward Scissorhands" actor admitted that his wife is "putting up" with him.
"I also have to thank my wife, Amber, for putting up with me. For living with all these characters, which can't be easy," Depp said at the Palm Springs International Film Festival as he accepted the Desert Palm Achievement Award, as quoted by Entertainment Tonight.
Johnny Depp then told the story of how patient Amber Heard has been, particularly when he played the role of Tonto in the 2013 film "The Lone Ranger."
"I arrived home one night I didn't want to take the old man Tonto makeup off," the actor said. "I just thought, 'I'll leave it,' because they're gonna put it on tomorrow morning."
"So, I went home and I slept in it, and [Amber] was already asleep, and I didn't say anything," Depp continued. "Then at a certain point, she reached over and sort of put her arm around me and started flipping out."
"It was so horrible. It was funny. At least for me, it was funny," the actor recounted while laughing.
Despite Johnny Depp's praise for his wife's sacrifices, there are speculations that it could actually be him who's holding the shorter end of the stick.
It has been previously reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry in August that Amber Heard was allegedly setting her sights on a beautiful, young woman, leaving Johnny Depp antsy about the possibility of his wife dumping him for a chick.
Though the "Magic Mike" actress has been mum about the rumor, she recently spoke up about sexism and transgenderism as she promoted her new movie, "The Danish Girl."
"The one way we will achieve change in a positive direction towards accepting people for who they are and looking beyond superficial means to judge people instead of falling prey to our prejudices and our tribal instincts towards fear," Heard told The Independent.
Amber Heard came out as a bisexual in 2010, long before she and Johnny Depp got married.
