In the following emails that were sent to a game site, Cleveland has confirmed that they were working on an Xbox One port for the game, according to Destructoid. He warns that the development is at a stage that it could be cancelled at any time if things go wrong. The development team is aiming for a March release if everything goes to plan.
"I'm not sure if I should 'confirm' this or not, but we're working on it," said Cleveland. "We always reserve the right to cancel it if it doesn't work... But yes, we're working on it!"
"We've been accepted into the Microsoft Preview Program... Exciting stuff," he continued.
"Subnautica" for Xbox One is still in its early stages, but the Steam Early Access version is still there on Steam, according to Eurogamer.net. The game is now discounted to 20 percent off with a holiday price of $13.99 until Jan. 4.
