Dream Age Launches Architect Land of Exile Teaser - New MMORPG from Aquatree Coming 2025
South Korean publisher Dream Age has unveiled the official teaser page for "Architect: Land of Exile," an upcoming AAA MMORPG developed by Aquatree. The teaser launch marks the beginning of pre-marketing for what's shaping up to be one of 2025's most anticipated online games.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, Architect offers a seamless open world where players can explore without traditional MMORPG restrictions. The game features unlimited movement including gliding, swimming, and rock climbing across vast landscapes.
The story centers on a world where ancient giants once ruled and built a massive tower reaching toward the heavens. When the giants mysteriously vanished, humans inherited seven kingdoms that prospered from the giants' legacy. Everything changes when the tower's sealed doors open, unleashing hordes of monsters across the land.
Players can choose from five character classes: Battle Priest, Warrior, Mage, Assassin, and Hunter. Each class fits into the game's Western fantasy setting with unique abilities and playstyles.
Aquatree, founded in June 2023, is led by CEO Park Beom-jin, who previously worked on successful mobile MMORPGs including "Lineage 2 Revolution" and "The Second Country" at Netmarble Neo. His experience with large-scale online games brings credibility to this ambitious project.
Dream Age (formerly HYBE IM) secured publishing rights through a partnership formed in August 2024. The company has invested significantly in the project as part of their broader gaming portfolio expansion.
Architect first appeared at G-Star 2024, where playable demos received positive feedback from attendees. The game stood out for its high-quality visuals and smooth gameplay mechanics, particularly the freedom of movement system that sets it apart from traditional MMORPGs.
The newly released teaser video showcases key story moments and gives players their first glimpse of the game's cinematic cutscenes and character designs.
Dream Age confirmed Architect will launch sometime in 2025, though no specific date has been announced yet. The game's release coincides with the company's recent rebrand from HYBE IM to Dream Age, signaling their commitment to interactive entertainment beyond traditional gaming.
