Marvel's "Agent Carter" is an American television series that focuses on Peggy Carter, who is a character in the first "Captain America" film. This series was created for ABC and created by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. This continues the story of the first "Captain America" film and follows Carter's story being a secret agent. The first season ended with eight episodes and the second season will be consisting 10 episodes. The second season is scheduled to air from Jan. 19 to March 1, 2016.
"Agent Carter" season 2 cast member Lyndsy Fonseca, a TV actress who is famous for her roles on "Nikita" and "How I Met Your Mother," will be back to reprise her role on the TV show for its second season, according to EW. She will reprise the role as Angie Martinelli, Peggy Carter's friend and confidante. The catch is she will be included in a dream sequence that involves a song and dance number.
"Episode 8 ends with a cliffhanger where Peggy and Jarvis [James D'Arcy] get in big trouble and are knocked out," said executive producer Michele Fazekas to EW in an interview. "Episode 9 begins with a dream sequence that starts in black and white - by the way, [Atwell] was made for black and white. She looks like Rita Hayworth. She looks spectacular."
Afterwards, everything goes into color which is reminiscent to the classic "Wizard of Oz" movie and it turns into a Broadway musical dance number, according to IGN. It will have an original song from famed lyricist David Zippel and composer Christopher Lennertz.
There will be a sequence that will feature a whole group of "Dancing with the Stars" professionals. "Agent Carter" season 2 cast member Lyndsy Fonseca will play a Jiminy Cricket-esque character, according to Fazekas.
"She's your conscience and she's speaking the things that Peggy maybe can't say to herself," she noted.
