RAIN And Kim Tae Hee Was Reported To Be Selling Their Gangnam Property Amidst Recent Controversy
Along the trail of the cheating allegations involving RAIN and Kim Tae Hee, a media outlet reported that the pair are putting up their Gangnam building on the market.
The actor initially purchased the building for 620 million won per 3.3 square meters, amounting to 92 billion won (64,355,690 USD). He holds 6/10 of the stake and the rest is owned by a limited company under RAIN's wife, Kim Tae Hee.

The building is a 2-minute walk away from Gangnam Station with 2 stories below ground and 8 stories above the ground. Its commercial space accommodates business establishments such as dermatology clinics, dental clinics, and cafes with rent reportedly at about 200 million won (139,769 USD).
According to the media outlet's claims, RAIN plans to sell the property at 140 billion won, close to 50 billion won in profit from its original sale price. The same report explained that the sudden reason for selling the building after just a year of purchase is due to the aftermath of a surge in market interest rates.
These claims have already been shut down by an official who stated that there's no truth to the story. A report cited by Osen says that both RAIN and Kim Tae Hee "have never put it up for sale." As it stands, the official was clueless as to "why this part was published without confirmation."

Rumor of this property release appears weeks after the actor was falsely accused of a cheating controversy.
RAIN's agency has already released an official statement on the matter and is taking active measures to protect the actor as well as conducting investigations on creators and writers who are spreading false claims and allegations.
Kim Tae Hee also stood by her husband and her agency has since dismissed the allegations as baseless.
