UAENAs Upset As French Influencer Allegedly Purposely Bumps Into IU At The 2022 Cannes Film Festival
Accidents are bound to happen no matter the situation. But if one only apologizes when fans express their distaste, is it really unintentional? Or another instance of racism in the West?

A video of superstar IU being bumped at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival by a French influencer has exploded online. The viral clip was from the 27th of May, on the red carpet of the film festival.
In the video, viewers could see a woman bumping into the actress and K-Pop idol. UAENAs were surprised after seeing the video. Mainly due to the fact that the woman continued walking as if nothing happened without saying sorry to IU.
Though regardless of what had happened, IU smiled after the incident. This once again proved how professional the "LILAC" singer is.

After doing their research, fans were able to find out who the woman was. Notably, she was French influencer Maria Travel. Since the incident, fans have swarmed her on social media, making her aware of the incident with IU.
Soon after, Maria Travel went on to release an apology to IU and her fans. In the apology, the French influencer explained that it was an accident and that she did not do it on purpose.
Though it seems like fans don't believe the influencer, sharing their doubt online.
Netizens believe it was not an accident as Maria Travel did not immediately apologize. Fans were not happy that the influencer only apologized after she received negative comments and messages.
