On the 17th of May, media outlets went on to report that ENHYPEN's security detail assaulted female fans. They apparently did so while the members of the K-Pop boy group were at the airport and were swarmed by fans.

As per the report, a group of female ENGENEs (the fandom of ENHYPEN) was waiting to get a closer look at the K-Pop boy group. While the artist's security detail was trying to hold the fans back, one of the bodyguards supposedly pushed the fans away too hard.

The video of ENHYPEN's security detail pushing fans has now exploded online. Check out it here:

A plethora of K-Pop fans and netizens who saw the video are upset at ENHYPEN's security guards. Some have said that they were doing too much while trying to protect the K-Pop boy group.

This is not the first time the security guards of a K-Pop group were criticized for what they did. Previously in 2018 NCT 127's security detail was also under fire for a similar incident. After which, SM Entertainment and the security company handling NCT 127's security released an official apology. Though BE:LIFT Lab, ENHYPEN's agency, has not yet released a statement on the matter.
