EXO-Ls To The Rescue: Fans Find Evidence Proving EXO Chanyeol’s Innocence Amidst Violence Allegations
Could recent evidence prove that EXO's Chanyeol is completely innocent?
Just recently, SM Entertainment dropped a statement denying EXO Chanyeol's part in violence allegations. The issue began when motorcycle influencer Jang Si Nae claimed that a K-pop idol (supposedly Chanyeol) verbally threatened her.
In a video posted by the influencer, the supposed K-pop idol could be seen driving a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. Following this, some netizens thought that the K-pop idol in question was Chanyeol of EXO, who conveniently drives a G-Wagon.
Not long after, the allegations toward EXO's Chanyeol became viral. The K-pop artist's label, SM Entertainment, went on to address the situation, denying their artist's involvement via an official announcement.
"The car in the video is different from Chanyeol's. Spreading rumors and misinformation will be dealt with strongly," SM Entertainment noted regarding the scandal involving EXO's Chanyeol.
To further supplement Chanyeol's innocence, EXO-Ls have recently collected evidence. On Weibo, fans of the K-pop idol posted a comparison of EXO Chanyeol's car with the car in the influencer's video.
The uploaded photos compared the two cars and the EXO fans proved that the car in the video was a black Mercedes Benz G63 AMG(V8). EXO Chanyeol's car is a grey G65 AMG (V12). This means that the EXO member is confirmed to have not had a part in the scandal.
Seeing this, fans of the K-pop idol became overjoyed. Though some netizens are still saddened as EXO's Chanyeol was unnecessarily involved in the scandal.
