Mimi, Former Gugudan Visual & Vocalist, Officially Makes Her Solo Debut In K-Pop

Are you ready, Danjjaks? Former Gugudan member Mimi has returned, making her solo debut with "Overcome."

Jung Mi Mi, more popularly known for her stage name Mimi, has finally made her solo debut in K-pop, to the delight of her fans. The former Gugudan member once again made use of her cool and refreshing vocals.

Notably, Mimi's new song entitled "Overcome" was dropped on the 22nd of April and is the K-pop soloist's first-ever musical release since the disbandment of her former group Gugudan. Her new song is a track that has a dream aesthetic which highlights her vocals very well. 

Furthermore, Jung Mi Mi made her debut as a member of the K-pop girl group Gugudan under Jellyfish Entertainment in 2016 and was popular with netizens and K-pop fans for her refreshing and pure vocals.

After parting ways with her former label Jellyfish Entertainment, Mimi went on to sign with her current agency, Ocean Sun Entertainment. But beyond singing, Mimi also proves her all-rounder status as with the K-pop soloist's new album, she proves that not only can she act, she can still sing quite well.

Additionally, Mimi will showcase her potential as an actress via the upcoming web drama entitled "Timetable." With this, netizens are now expecting more from Mimi's solo career as the actress and vocalist proceeds with her journey as a soloist.
