2PM’s Lee Junho And SNSD’s YoonA Are Set To Star In New Rom-Com Drama By ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ Writer
2PM's Lee Junho and SNSD's YoonA are starring in an upcoming romantic-comedy K-Drama!
Reports confirm that idol-turned actors Lee Junho and YoonA are set to appear as the lead cast of the K-Drama "Kingderland."
The casting of Lee Junho and YoonA as the lead stars of "Kingderland" raises expectations of the birth of another Rom-Com hit.
"Kingderland" will be penned by "All Of Us Are Dead" writer Chun Sung Il Junho and YoonA's upcoming K-Drama will be produced by NPIO Entertainment, which is beyond the hit series "The Red Sleeve" and "Forecasting Love and Weather." Meanwhile, BY4M Studio will also be working behind the drama.
Lee Jun-ho, a popular idol-turned actor who puts all his heart and passion between works and stages, will take on the role of Go Woon who is an heir of a conglomerate. Go Woon is thrown into the inheritance war of the King group, which controls hotels, airlines, and distribution businesses. He has everything from a brilliant brain, innate dignity, and chic charm, but he lacks a sense of romance.

Meanwhilem, YoonA, an idol and actress with a colorful acting spectrum that crosses movies and dramas, will give life to the character of Chun Sa Rang who is the owner of the charm that brightens the world with one smile. Chun Sa Rang works at the King Hotel where she had her happiest childhood memories.
The meeting of the two actors, which can be said to be a dream combination, already raises high expectations for the drama.
"Kingderland" plans to start filming in the fall of this year as soon as casting is completed, while the broadcast platform and schedule are being discussed.
The upcoming K-Drama "Kingderland" is the first drama project between Lee Junho and YoonA. The two, however, worked together as MCs of the "2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon" where they also performed an heart-fluttering rendition of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes' "Señorita."
