BTS Makes History As They Break Their Own Guinness World Record With 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Win!

HYBE's BTS recently collated a new world record after the K-pop boy group won the award for "Favorite Music Group" during this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and netizens and K-pop fans are hyped!

On the 9th of April, the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards occurred in Santa Monica. K-pop sensation BTS took home the award for "Favorite Music Group" for the third straight year and this marks the K-pop group's sixth overall trophy from the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Due to this recent milestone, BTS has now added their own Guinness World Record for "the most Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards won by a music group." In the previous year, BTS was able to earn the title by being able to tie with Fifth Harmony at five wins each.

After winning their recent win at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, BTS has now broken the aforementioned tie. Though BTS were not able to attend the ceremony in person, the K-pop boy group accepted their award via a pre-taped speech in English.

BTS's leader, RM, commented, "Thank you, KCA [Kids' Choice Awards] and ARMY [BTS's fandom], for the Favorite Music Group award. We're honored and so grateful to receive the award."

Jimin noted that the award is for their K-pop fans and that BTS is touched by their love and support. Following this, BTS's Suga went on to promise that they will never stop trying their best and that they will show fans a great performance.

Furthermore, Jungkook added by showing his gratitude to fans and BTS's V concluded by saying that BTS loves their ARMYs (the fandom name of the K-pop boy group).
