BTS’s V Reveals What He Said To Olivia Rodrigo During Their Viral 2022 GRAMMYs Moment Together!
HYBE's BTS went viral at the 2022 GRAMMYs as not only did the K-pop boy group perform "Butter," but they were also nominated for "Best Pop/Duo/Performance." Though one specific highlight had netizens and K-pop fans screaming.
Notably, there was an appearance by American singer Olivia Rodrigo where BTS's V leaned in to whisper something in her ear before bringing out a card from behind her hair and throwing it toward BTS's Jungkook on the stage.
Following what happened, the internet could not get over the superstars 'flirty moment as a plethora of memes popped up soon after.
Understandably, netizens and ARMYs (the fandom name of BTS) became curious about what V had whispered. Just recently, the K-pop idol revealed on Weverse what he told Olivia Rodrigo.
When asked what he said to Olivia Rodrigo, BTS's V shared, "This is important business. You understand as a fellow professional. I didn't even speak English."
ARMYs went on to assume that Olivia was surprised because V had whispered something to her in Korean. Yet, V noted that he also did not speak Korean either.
ARMYs were amused and were praising BTS's V and Olivia Rodrigo for their acting skills. The K-pop idol went on to proclaim that Olivia Rodrigo is a hero.
Considering V had not spoken in either English or Korean, some assumed he actually said nothing. He refuted this, saying he did say something, but he could not remember the details because he was so nervous.
"I did say something but I was nervous about the performance so I don't remember. I probably said, 'You have to be surprised now'," BTS's V explained.
