T.O.P Hints That BIGBANG’s ‘Still Life’ Will Be Their Last Comeback In Emotional Message!
On the 4th of April, BIGBANG released their highly-awaited comeback with their single "Still Life", making it the K-pop boy group's first comeback in around 4 years.
Not long after dropping "Still Life," BIGBANG's T.O.P posted a message on his personal Instagram in English, showing his gratitude to fans for being there for the last 16 years. The K-pop idol also asked them to look forward to the 'new turning point' in his life.
Although not confirmed, most netizens and K-pop fans believe that this will be BIGBANG's last comeback for a while. This is mainly due to T.O.P hinting at something similar previously. In March, T.O.P had an interview with Prestige magazine, and the K-pop idol talked about his solo career.
"From the beginning, I've always shared with my fans that I'm fully proud that I am T.O.P of BIGBANG, but in the last few years, I was starting to think that maybe this was the end, and maybe there won't be T.O.P of BIGBANG for a while," BIGBANG's T.O.P revealed.
BIGBANG's T.O.P also explained how his fellow members had done a lot of growing in their hiatus. Due to this, the K-pop boy group no longer has the same tastes in music and now also has different priorities and goals in life.
Furthermore, BIGBANG's T.O.P added, "Over those five years, our music tastes and activities probably differed a lot, and now BIGBANG music and T.O.P's music are quite different. I'm at the stage in my life where I want to awaken to fresh new challenges, stimuli, and transition."
Although netizens and K-pop fans are saddened, many of them are happy for BIGBANG's T.O.P for finally chasing his passion!
