‘Uncharted 4’ New Voice Actress Replaced Emily Rose? Laura Bailey Plays Mysterious Role!
Rumors of "Uncharted 4" say that a new voice actress has replaced another voice actress Emily Rose, according to Game Pur.
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is a new action-adventure third-person platform video game and the fourth iteration of the "Uncharted" game franchise. The game is published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Naughty Dog. The game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and will be launched in March 18, 2016.
There were rumors that the new voice actress for the game has replaced Emily Rose, one of the main voice actors of the game. The one who supposedly replaced the voice actress was Laura Bailey. Naughty Dog's Community Manager Arne Meyer cleared this up in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
"Nah, Emily played Elena in 'Uncharted 4'," said Meyer on the post. "She couldn't make our panel and will be sorely missed."
Meanwhile, the new "Uncharted 4" voice actress, Laura Bailey, has been added to the cast. There are still no details of what role she will play in the upcoming game, according to Game Rant. Bailey is famous for his role as a voice actress of Spartan Olympia Vale in "Halo 5." She was also a part of the "Bioshock Infinite" cast as Lady Comstock. A picture of her having direct interactions with the protagonist has appeared so it seems she has an important role in the game.
In addition, Bailey also played different roles on many popular video games like Fiona in "Tales from the Borderlands," Fetch Walker in "InFamous Second Son" and Rise Kujikawa in "Persona 4."
The news of the new "Uncharted 4" voice actress came from an announcement of a panel at PlayStation Experience. The panel focused on the performance of the capture process, according to NZGamer.com. The list has many voice actors listed like Nolan North, Troy Baker and Richard McGonagle. Bailey is listed as one of the panelists for the game.
