There are several causes of obesity. A lot of stress or sitting for a long time can cause obesity.

Another major factor is lack of sleep. Lack of sleep can make weight management difficult.

A body mass index ( BMI ) of 25 or more is considered overweight, and a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or more is considered obese. However, a research team found that those with a BMI of 30 or higher tended to sleep 15 minutes less on average than those with a BMI lower than that.

Lack of sleep raises levels of the fasting hormone ghrelin and decreases levels of the satiety hormone leptin, making you hungry. In addition, lack of sleep makes you feel tired or stressed, which also makes it difficult to suppress your appetite.

One of the best ways to get a good night's sleep is to eat foods that help you sleep better. In this regard, let's find out about foods that help you sleep.
