Hyunjin Is The Only LOONA Member To Test Negative For COVID-19
To the sadness of Orbits (the fandom name of LOONA), 11 out of the 12 members of the Blockberry Creative K-pop girl group have gone to test positive for the COVID-19 virus. The only member of LOONA to test negative is Hyunjin.
On the 28th of February, Blockberry Creative revealed that the members of LOONA took self-tests on the 25th of February. Their results were later further confirmed using PCR tests on the 26th of February, making fans of the K-pop girl group worried.
Furthermore, due to LOONA's positive tests, the K-pop girl group will not be joining in the first round of Mnet "Queendom 2."
Specifically, Blockberry Creative announced via posting on LOONA's fancafe that following Haseul, Yeojin, and Vivi's positive test results on the 28th of February, eight more members of the K-pop girl group have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
Blockberry Creative's statement regarding the status of LOONA members is as follows:
"Hello, this is Blockberry Creative.
We would like to inform you of the results from the PCR tests conducted on February 27.
Between February 28 and March 1, LOONA members Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye have tested positive for COVID-19.
All of the members except Heejin and Yves have received their booster shot while Heejin and Yves have received 2 doses of the vaccine. LOONA will half all activities for the time being and take the necessary measures according to the authorities' guidelines.
The health and safety of our artists is our top priority and we will do our best for the swift recovery of the members.
