Just recently, the list of artists who took home titles at the 2021 Mubeat Awards have been revealed and among a plethora of candidates in ten categories, BLACKPINK's Lisa, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, IVE, OMEGA X, and Lim Young Woong were able to bring home awards.
Notably, the 2021 Mubeat Awards ceremony was held virtually by Mubeat and global fans who are also users of the app were able to vote on the K-pop artists they believed deserved one or more awards from ten categories.
Categories for the 2021 Mubeat Awards were "Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year," "MV of the Year," "Trot Star of the Year," "Rookie Artist" (Male Category), "Rookie Artist" (Female Category), "Best Male Solo," "Best Female Solo," "Best Performance," and "Global Pick."
Voter turnouts were amazing as a total of 252 countries and 4,523,016 fans participated in the voting and the 2021 Mubeat Awards accumulated 116,317,215 total votes.
