SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo And Hoshi To Miss The Group’s Online Activities After The Former Tests Positive For COVID-19

On the 12 of February, Pledis Entertainment announced that SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, Pledis Entertainment shared that SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo experienced a sore throat and mild fever symptoms on Friday, February 11. Due to his symptoms, Wonwoo underwent a self-diagnosis test kit. As soon the self-administered test came out positive, Wonwoo underwent a PCR test.

"Wonwoo experienced sore throat and mild fever symptoms on February 11 KST (Friday), so he underwent a self-diagnosis test kit and tested positive. As a result, he immediately underwent a PCR test, and on February 12 KST, he received his positive test results for COVID-19," Pledis Entertainment announced.

Furthermore, Pledis Entertainment shared that SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo is receiving home treatment.

"Currently, Wonwoo has no symptoms other than a sore throat and a mild fever, and he is receiving home treatment," Pledis Entertainment announced.

Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment also announced that Wonwoo's fellow SEVENTEEN member Hoshi is currently waiting for his results as a close contact.

""Recently, the Seventeen members, except Hoshi, remained in their homes and were not in contact with Wonwoo. On February 11 KST, all the Seventeen members underwent a self-diagnosis test kit and tested negative, and have no abnormal symptoms," Pledis Entertainment added.

Consequently, the agency announced that both Wonwoo and Hoshi will be absent in SEVENTEEN's upcoming online activities.
