ITZY Signs With International Label Republic Records!

Is ITZY gearing up for activities in the United States? JYP Entertainment's recent partnership with Republic Records could be huge for the K-pop girl group.

As of writing this article, today on the 11th of February, JYP Entertainment announced that they would further improve their strategic partnership with the international music label Republic Records. Thus, the two have now joined forces to strengthen 4th generation K-pop girl group ITZY's popularity in the U.S.

Republic Records is an American music label that is under Universal Music, the number one label in the U.S. as per Billboard. Currently, the American label's active artists are global musicians Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

Notably, Republic Records and JYP Entertainment announced their partnership when 3rd generation K-pop girl group TWICE went to the U.S. in February of 2020. JYP Entertainment's ITZY is a K-pop girl group known for their choreography and performances. 

Republic Records Chairman Manti Lipman expressed that JYP Entertainment is the most influential voice representing the era we currently live in, and their passion and vision for strategic collaboration is truly remarkable.

Jung Wook, the CEO of JYP Entertainment, also shared that he is delighted that the two companies will work together in the future development of their major artist lineup, starting with the successful launch of the U.S. activities of Republic Records and TWICE, the top labels in the U.S.
