To the delight of netizens and fans, Moonbyul previously revealed that she was preparing a solo comeback. It was officially confirmed on the 23rd of December at midnight KST, as Moonbyul posted her comeback schedule!

MAMAMOO's Moonbyul previously dropped two pre-release singles-"G999" featuring Mirani and "From Head to Toe" featuring Seori. This was only the start as Moonbyul was preparing to release her third solo mini-album, "6equence," exciting K-pop fans at the time.

On the 6th of January at midnight, KST, MAMAMOO's Moonbyul officially began the countdown to her upcoming solo comeback with an exciting first teaser for her title track "LUNATIC."

MAMAMOO's Moonbyul set the bar high for K-pop this year due to the beautiful jacket image of her new album, "6equence," which she recently revealed. Finally, after waiting for a long time, Moonbyul finally made her come back with "6equence" on the 19th of January.

Notably, it seems as though MooMoos (the fandom name of MAMAMOO) are not the only ones who enjoyed the album as Moonbyul's album went on to top iTunes' charts!

MAMAMOO Moonbyul's new solo album "6equence" has gotten positive response overseas. Moonbyul's third mini album, "6equence," topped the iTunes Top Album Chart in 20 regions while her title track entitled "LUNATIC", topped the iTunes Top Song Chart in 11 regions.

Not long ago, MAMAMOO Moonbyul's pre-release single, "From Head To Toe," also topped the iTunes Top Song Chart in 10 regions, which brought a good initial run for her comeback promotions. 

MAMAMOO's Moonbyul will be beginning her music broadcast promotions starting on the 20th of January via Mnet's "M Countdown," which has gotten fans excited.
