Netizens Worry As Yuehua Entertainment Suddenly Announces Yiren’s Hiatus From EVERGLOW!
To the surprise and sadness of Forevers, the fandom name of EVERGLOW, Yuehua Entertainment's K-pop girl group, will temporarily be promoted with only five members as Yiren, visual, center, and maknae of EVERGLOW, has been confirmed to take a hiatus from activities.
To the delight of fans, EVERGLOW made their highly-anticipated comeback in early December 2021 with their mini-album called "Return of the Girl" and its accompanying hit title track entitled "Pirate."
Netizens and K-pop fans loved EVERGLOW's comeback, but only a month after their return, Forevers were given a sudden shock as Yuehua Entertainment, EVERGLOW's agency, abruptly announced Yiren's hiatus from the K-pop girl group.
"With gratitude to the fans who love EVERGLOW, we have an announcement to make about member Yiren.
Yiren has to go to China from mid-January to the end of February due to her academic status, so she will be taking a break there for a while to spend time with her family, whom she hasn't seen in a long time because of COVID-19.
During the time stated above, EVERGLOW will continue their domestic activities with five members, and carry out their schedule as planned."
As per Yuehua Entertainment's announcement, Yiren's hiatus from EVERGLOW will only seem to last until February. But no specific detail for the K-pop idol's return has been given. Fans will surely miss the EVERGLOW member.
Notably, EVERGLOW will continue to promote as a five-member K-pop girl group with Sihyeon, E:U, Mia, Onda, and Aisha.
