Lovelyz Fans Upset At Woollim Entertainment For The Label’s Controversial Promotions For DRIPPIN’s Comeback!
Is it right for a K-pop agency to include other artists in DRIPPIN's upcoming comeback? Fans of Lovelyz do not think so.
Woollim Entertainment, home to K-pop groups INFINITE, Golden Child, Rocket Punch, DRIPPIN, and LOVELYZ (who has now sadly disbanded), is taking heat from fans of Lovelyz's due to the label's promotion strategy for DRIPPIN's upcoming comeback.
Netizens and K-pop fans (primarily of LOVELYZ) have recently noticed that all social media accounts from K-pop groups under Woollim Entertainment have gone on to change profile pictures and headers. The photos have been changed to the silhouette of a man and what seems to be a screen filled with code.
K-pop fans were upset to notice that even LOVELYZ's official social media accounts had also gone on to be changed. No social media pages were safe as LOVELYZ's Facebook, V LIVE, and their YouTube channel fell to the same fate.
This further fueled the fire of dismay as fans have not yet moved on from LOVELYZ's abrupt disbandment in December of last year. Notably, LOVELYZ has not yet disbanded as a K-pop group, but the LOVELYZ members have moved on from Woollim Entertainment.
LOVELYZ's fans were already enraged by Woollim Entertainment's refusal to improve their promotions towards the K-pop girl group, and what the agency recently did, did not help ease the tension.
LOVELYZ's fans feel that Woollim Entertainment had gone on to disrespect both them and LOVELYZ for using the K-pop girl group's accounts when the members were no longer under the company.
