Jisoo Admits Frustration Towards Woollim Entertainment Amidst Inactivity Of Lovelyz, +Releases Apology!
Just recently, Jisoo of Lovelyz trended as she vented her frustration towards her label, Woollim Entertainment.
Lovelyz's Jisoo previously hosted a V Live broadcast to speak with her fans. In the broadcast though, fans were alarmed as the Lovelyz member released a statement that made fans worry.
A fan recently posted an audio excerpt that was deleted not long after its posting and in it, Jisoo spilled the tea on the management situation of Woollim Entertainment towards Lovelyz's lack of album releases.
"We have done all we can. We have brought up our desires to release an album and other things. It's not that we haven't done anything. We don't just sit there and remain silent. It's our lives too so of course we said something. We feel sorry for wasting so much time and we also feel sorry to all of you guys. We're not just waiting around aimlessly and we want you all to know that," Lovelyz's Jisoo revealed on her live broadcast.
Showing their support, Lovelinus (the fandom name of Lovelyz) made the hashtag #lovelyzdeservesbetter trend on Twitter! Notably, Lovelyz's last album release was in September of 2020, a little over a year ago, with their EP "Unforgettable."
Following her viral statement, Lovelyz's Jisoo dropped an apology on the 13th of October on the fan platform, Pocketdols.
Lovelyz's Jisoo's apology is as follows:
"I only sent it through secret mail... I mustered up the courage and put it on here.
I think there's a misunderstanding about what I said yesterday.
I saw a comment asking me to release an album during the V Live, so I answered it.
Before that, I was so upset when I saw a message saying that the members don't seem to have a will for an album.
I think it came out easily to misunderstand.
I'm sure Linus was curious, but we can only say the same thing every time.
Anyway, I don't want things to get bigger, and I don't want other members to talk about it because of me.
I shouldn't have done V Live yesterday. I should've just slept when I had a headache.
I'm sorry."
