Ending 2021 With A Bang: IU Melts Netizens’ Hearts With Immensely Generous Deed!
To the delight of netizens and fans, IU recently announced that she is slated to drop a new album entitled "Pieces" on the 29th of December.

Although this is amazing news to UAENAs, the fandom name of IU, fans were even more hyped when they found out that the "strawberry moon" singer has gone on to make a huge donation to help the needy for the holidays!
As of writing this article, on the 24th of December, it was reported that IU had gone on to donate 200 million won (which is approximately $168,560) to ChildFund Korea. Beyond her talent, IU is known for her generosity, and she just showcased it once again.
IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, confirmed the reports by expressing, "IU donated 100 million won, about $84,280, each to cancer patients and children from low-income families."
A portion of her donation will be used by ChildFund Korea towards low-income families to take care of heating bills and get warm clothes for the cold weather in the holidays. This will also go towards supporting scholarships for youth that are being raised by their grandparents.
Another part of IU's donation will be used by the Asan Medical Center to cover the expenses for treatments of women and children who have cancer.
"This is a difficult time when everyone is feeling exhausted, but I wanted to share feelings of warmth and help with those who needed it. I hope that everyone can spend a warm winter without a single neighbor being left out," IU expressed.
Previously, IU went on to partner with a plethora of brands she models to make donations once again, on her 13th anniversary in September.
