IU Gives Netizens & UAENAs An Amazing Christmas Gift As She Gears Up For December Comeback!

Are you ready for a year-end musical release from the Nation's little sister? Netizens and fans are thrilled as IU surprises them with a December musical release.

IU's most recent comeback was with her digital single "Strawberry Moon," which was praised for its charming and soft vibe. The music video of the song also was showered with positive reviews as the CGI was simply breathtaking.

IU's "Strawberry Moon" also has won multiple awards in major music shows and has gone on to set milestones to add to the soloist's list of accomplishments. Fans believed that the "LILAC" singer's last song was "Strawberry Moon," but it seems as though IU is preparing for a year-end comeback.

Now, netizens and UAENAs (the fandom name of IU) are extremely excited as IU just teased that she will drop a musical release before December ends.

It is only a couple more days until 2021 ends, but IU has one more trick up her sleeve. The soloist just announced that she would be ending 2021 with an exciting new release. 

As of writing this article, on the 22nd December at midnight KST, IU has gone on to surprise her fans by releasing an unexpected teaser for "Pieces," which is slated to drop on the 29th of December at 6 p.m. KST.

IU has not yet revealed any specific details regarding her upcoming musical release, but her new artwork teaser had a drawing of IU's past albums stacked on top of one another. Perhaps it is an anthology of her most successful songs with an original title track.
