Working With Jung Hae In, Support From BLACKPINK, & More, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Goes In-Depth!
On the 8th of December, BLACKPINK's Jisoo answered questions regarding her upcoming JTBC drama "Snowdrop"!
"Snowdrop," which will be helmed by the director and writer of JTBC's smash hit "SKY Castle," is a romantic drama starring BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Jung Hae In, and many more big names.
Regarding the characters she plays, BLACKPINK's Jisoo explained that Young Ro is charming and can draw the attention of people around her. Her maturity is also highlighted in the drama, and her ability to adapt is quite impressive.
BLACKPINK's Jisoo also shared that she is similar to Young Ro as she also likes to give off good energy to people around here.
Jisoo also talked about how it feels to be on set having a lead role by noting that she got really close to everyone while filming. She met up with the friends she was 'rooming with' since before the broadcast to get closer while bonding, so she had fun doing the drama together.
BLACKPINK's Jisoo also talked about her chemistry with Jung Hae In. The BLACKPINK member noted, "I'm really lucky that Jung Hae In is the first actor I'm starring opposite of. From the first shoot to the last, he monitored the scenes with me, and he was reliable because he led the set and listened well to my concerns about the role. I think his greatest charm is that he listens carefully and sincerely thinks over everyone's concerns."
Beyond that, the other members of BLACKPINK also showed their support towards Jisoo for her upcoming drama. "They sent word that they'll definitely be tuning in. Since the members supported me and expressed curiosity, I also gained strength and was able to work harder on filming," BLACKPINK's Jisoo revealed.
JTBC's "Snowdrop" will debut on the 18th of December at 10:30 p.m. KST!
