Notably, "Peaches" is EXO Kai's first comeback as a solo artist and he explained that he showed a heavy and deep image for his past solo release and with EXO. But this time, he wanted to show a sweet, friendly, and cute image.
For EXO's Kai, it wasn't an easy production process as it took time due to his team needing constant evaluation to make good songs and a good album. The tough thing was the conflict between not having enough time despite all the things he wanted to do.
EXO's Kai added that it was also a coincidence that it took him a year to make his solo comeback.
Regarding his new album "Peaches," EXO's Kai expressed, "I wanted to express everything with that key word, 'peaches.' The overall atmosphere and vibe of this song was what I really wanted people to hear. There is also a lot of fun choreography. The song is calm and gentle, but the dance is powerful."
Beyond being an idol, EXO's Kai was in Netflix's "New World" and he explained, "When you film variety shows, there are a lot of fun things that happen. I think that's why I find it fun to film them. I also like that fans can see more of me in variety shows. My strong point in variety shows is that I'm comfortable to watch. I started on it by chance but I'm showing my honest self."
EXO's Sehun added, "I've seen his variety shows and it's exactly the same as Kai is in real life."
The 12th of December is a special day for EXO's Kai as it is the date of his online solo concert.
Regarding this, EXO's Kai noted that it feels like he is carrying all the difficulties that he has experienced as an EXO member preparing for a concert. It's really tough to prepare a concert all by yourself but he is going in with the attitude of learning since it's his first solo concert.
