GOT7’s Choi Youngjae Joins ‘The Penthouse’ Star Choi Yebin In New Web Drama
The casting lineup for CINE de RAMA's third project "Love & Wish" was revealed.
CINE de RAMA's "Love & Wish" is based on a webtoon of the same name. It is written by romance writer Ine and distributed by Kakao Page. "Love & Wish" will be produced by Cube Entertainment.
The webtoon "Love & Wish" has been loved by 1.5 million subscribers because it tells a story of the love, friendship, and growth experienced by high schoolers which teens and people in their twenties can deeply empathize with.
Leading the cast of "Love & Wish" is GOT7's very own Youngjae. The idol turned actor will give life to the role of Kim Seung Hui. "Love & Wish" will be Youngjae's first lead role for a romance drama, therefore, raising expectations.

Previously, Choi Youngjae starred alongside his GOT7 members for the mini web series "Dream Knight." Most recently, he starred in the Netflix series "So Not Worth It" as Sam who is the son of the president of a global food chain. Youngjae signed under Sublime Artist Agency after his contract with JYP Entertainment expired last January.
On the other hand, Choi Ye Bin, who played the iconic character Ha Eun Byeol in "The Penthouse" was selected to play the female lead, Son Da Eun.
Yoo Jae Sang, who was recognized for her acting skills in the movies "4th Place" and "Middle School Girl A" was cast for Na Yu Il.
In addition, director Jang Jae-hyuk, the head of Cube Entertainment's visual content group, took charge of the directing. Cube Entertainment revealed that the story was newly adapted based on the original webtoon, raising expectations for fresh enjoyment not only of drama fans but also of the original fans.
"Love & Wish" is scheduled to release a drama version through OTT platforms like Viki in mid-December.
