As more and more time passes, like all things, the K-pop music genre evolves. At present, K-pop is in its fourth generation and multiple young K-pop groups and artists surface and garner more attention and fame as each day passes.

But K-pop fans will never forget iconic K-pop groups that started it all in the past and among the legendary K-pop groups are SM Entertainment's Girls' Generation, also known as SNSD.

Furthermore, SM Entertainment's Girl's Generation consists of 8 members; Taeyeon, Yuri, Hyoyeon, SunnyYoona, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun

Fans and netizens are aware that Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun parted ways with SM Entertainment on the 9th of October 2017, but the three K-pop artists seem to still be part of Girl's Generation as in a previous program to commemorate their anniversary, all 8 members were present.

Notably, the members of SNSD are one of the most loved K-pop artists in the industry and this was evident recently as in a recent live broadcast, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung was hit hard by nostalgia, shedding tears due to a fans' comment.

In Sooyoung's Instagram broadcast, a fan expressed what she felt regarding Girls' Generation's debut song, "I was in my second year of middle school during Girls' Generation's 'Into the New World', and I'm 30 now. I'm happy that I got to spend the same generation as you, unnie."

With tears in her eyes, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung responded, "I watched the 'Into the New World' music video yesterday. We were so young and pretty. Now that I see this comment, it makes me cry. Congratulations on your 30th birthday. Being 30 isn't that big of a deal. I was happy that I could be there for your middle school and high school years too. Will you allow me to be a part of your 30s as well?"

"I'll do my best, unnie," the fan responded emotionally.

For some, K-pop is more than a music genre, and for this certain fan, Girls' Generation truly made her younger years memorable.
