BLACKPINK Tops ‘Most Followed K-Pop Girl Groups On Twitter’ List For October
More than a year since their last group comeback, BLACKPINK remains to be one of the most relevant girl groups in the K-Pop industry.
The quartet from YG Entertainment took the top spot in the "Most Followed K-Pop Girl Groups" list for the month of October. BLACKPINK saw a 303.4k increase in their Twitter follower count and currently boasts a total of 5.1 million followers.
Securing the second spot on this list is no other than JYP Entertainment girl group TWICE. The "Alcohol-Free" singer gained 220.3k new Twitter followers bumping their total follower count to 8.9 million. Currently, TWICE is preparing for its upcoming full album release.
In third place is TWICE's labelmate ITZY who gained over 178.2k new followers on Twitter. Currently, the "Loco" singer has a total of 3.9 million Twitter followers.
Completing the top five for this month are SM Entertainment girl groups aespa and Red Velvet. aespa placed fourth with 123.1k new followers while Red Velvet placed fifth with 99.0k.
