BLACKPINK continues their streak as the most followed K-Pop girl group on Twitter, recently achieving this feat in October.

For the nth time, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK ranked number one after gaining 66.9k new Twitter followers. As of writing this article, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK boasts a total of 5.1 million followers.

To further add more acclaim to the third generation K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK has been dubbed with another impressive milestone and this time it is with one of their debut tracks, "BOOMBAYAH"!

After making their debut 5 years ago in 2016, the members of YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK are still making impressive milestones on YouTube with their amazing debut music video with "BOOMBAYAH" to the delight of fans!

On the 1st of November at around 9:34 a.m. KST, BLACKPINK's music video for their debut track "BOOMBAYAH" has reached more than 1.3 billion views on YouTube. This means it is the first K-pop debut music video in history to achieve this amazing feat for both male and female artists!

BLACKPINK's "BOOMBAYAH" is now the K-pop group's third music video to go beyond 1.3 billion views. The prior BLACKPINK music videos to achieve this feat are "DDU-DU DDU-DU" and "Kill This Love."

Notably, BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK) are extremely proud as BLACKPINK is currently the only K-pop artist to have reached the feat with three different music videos!

Furthermore, BLACKPINK originally dropped the music video for "BOOMBAYAH" on the 8th of August, 2016 at 8 p.m. KST and this means that it took the music video of the track just a little more than five years, two months, and 23 days to hit the 1.3 billion views mark on YouTube.

Congratulations to YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK on the amazing achievement!
