IU Reigns As K-Pop’s ‘Twitter Queen’ For The Month Of October
October was gone so fast but it has been a successful month for female K-Pop soloists.
Our beloved IU blessed us with the dreamy song "Strawberry Moon." IU's recent banger achieved not just a certified all-kill but also a perfect all-kill in the music charts. "Strawberry Moon" is IU's third song to achieve a perfect all-kill in 2021. IU has also wrapped up October as the most followed female K-Pop soloist after garnering 58.3k new followers. The "Strawberry Moon" singer currently boasts a total of 1.1 million followers on Twitter.
On the other hand, former IOI center Jeon Somi is the second most followed female K-Pop soloist for the month of October. The "XOXO" singer gained over 26.7k new followers for the month. Jeon Somi currently has a total of 304.4k Twitter followers.
Taking the third spot is 2NE1 member Sandara Park who gained 22.0k new followers on Twitter. Dara has over 5.7 million followers on Twitter at the moment.
Completing the top five most followed female K-Pop soloists are former IZ*ONE member Kim Minju and "You can't sit with us" singer Sunmi at fourth and fifth places, respectively.
