BTS’ Jin Is K-Pop’s ‘Spotify King’ For Week 1 of October
ARMY's were ecstatic when it was reported that BTS' Jin is slated to sing the original sound soundtrack (OST) for the upcoming K-drama "Jirisan."
"BTS's Jin's song for the 'Jirisan' OST will be the main theme song for 'Jirisan,' and you will be able to hear it starting from midway through the drama. We will announce the release date [for the song] at a separate time," production company AStory announced.
Fans have been since eager to hear Jin's solo music and the excitement transcended to the BTS member's official Spotify handle.
The BTS visual member gained over 75.7k new followers on Spotify. Currently, Jin boasts a whopping 580k Spotify followers with only two songs credited to him. This makes Jin the most followed male K-Pop artist on Spotify for the first week of October.
Completing the top 5 for the week are Jin's bandmates RM, J-Hope, Agust D, and V.
