Seulgi of Red Velvet

We could not have had the versatile idol that is Seulgi. It is known that Seulgi is the Red Velvet member with the longest training period.

Considering her long training years, it is not surprising that along the way, Seulgi had some thoughts of giving up and leaving the company. The idol previously shared that after four years of training under SM Entertainment she had some serious thoughts about leaving the agency.

Well, Seulgi is indeed destined to become one of the most renowned dancers and idols in the industry as she pushed through despite the challenges to debut with Red Velvet.

Momo and Tzuyu of TWICE

TWICE is a product of the 2015 survival show "Sixteen" which featured 16 trainees from JYP Entertainment competing to get a spot in the final lineup of the agency's third-generation girl group.

Supposedly, JYP Entertainment is planning on debuting a 7-membered girl group. Momo was eliminated in the early episodes while Tzuyu, although she was able to make it to the last episode, did not make the cut to the "Major" team.

Due to Momo's perseverance and Tzuyu's popularity, however, the two were added to the final lineup. Thus, completing the nine members of the now-iconic and mega-successful girl group TWICE.

Yuna of ITZY

Prior to the official debut of ITZY, various photos circulated of the alleged lineup of the girl group.

Then-JYP trainees Somi, Chaeryoung, Yeji, Ryujin, and Lia were even spotted attending a TWICE concert further confirming the speculations that JYP is launching a girl group comprising the 5 mentioned trainees.

However, a few months after the photos went viral, Somi announced that she will be leaving JYP Entertainment.

Such an announcement caused a stir in the online K-Pop community leaving fans to wonder who will be replacing her in the lineup. Fast-forward to ITZY's debut, Yuna was added to complete the ITZY that we know and love today
