Kim Min Seok, Nam Gyu Ri, And Song Jae Rim To Star In New Drama ‘Bloody Romance’

Exciting news for K-Drama fans out there, Kim Min Seok is confirmed to star in a new drama entitled "Bloody Romance" alongside Nam Gyu Ri and Song Jae Rim.

"Bloody Romance" is a drama that will revolve around the love story of a North Korean female soldier and a South Korean world star who has enlisted in the military.

The 31-year-old actor Kim Min Seok will be transforming into the character of Lloyd, a famous world star with females fans all around the globe. He suddenly enlists in the military after being swept up in a conspiracy and his world was never the same.

"I'm half worried and half excited to be taking on a world star character I've never played before. I will do my best with an acting that viewers will be able to understand and empathize with, so please give it a loving interest," actor Kim Min Seok shared.

On the other hand, Nam Gyu Ri will be taking on the role of North Korean female soldier second lieutenant Baek Young Ok who is the commander of her country's eighth special forces. Through this drama, Nam Gyu Ri will be showing a new side of herself, especially with advanced action scenes.

Lastly, joining Kim Min Seok and Nam Gyu Ri for "Bloody Romance" is actor Song Jae Rim who is cast to portray North Korean special forces soldier Sung Jae Hoon. Despite his sophisticated look and charming facade, Song Jae Rim's character will be a threat to the unification of North and South Korea.

"Bloody Romance" will be directed by Park Gwang Choon for JTBC. The drama is expected to air within the first half of 2022. However, production plans and other details regarding the drama are yet to be confirmed.
