IU Is The Spotify Queen For August, See Full Rankings

IU is proving yet again that she's K-Pop's top female soloist. The "Celebrity" singer gained the most Spotify followers among other female soloists for the month of August. After seeing over 308k growth on Spotify, IU currently has a total of 5.10 million followers.

Following IU at far second is BLACKPINK's main vocalist, Rose, who gained a total of 158k new followers on Spotify. MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa on the other hand came in at third place after garnering a total of 103k new Spotify followers. 

"Dumb Dumb" singer Somi ranks fourth on this list with a follower growth of 101k. Completing the top five is another BLACKPINK member, Jennie. The "Solo" singer gained 92k new followers on Spotify for the month of August.
