BLINKs Want Rosé To Try Rock Music? BLACKPINK Vocalist Goes In-Depth With Elle Korea
Yesterday on the 20th of August, Elle Korea uploaded a special Q&A video with BLACKPINK's very own Rosé to promote their recent pictorial with the K-pop artist. Amazingly, BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK) went on to ask Rosé a plethora of fun questions!
Elle Korea's video went on to show questions in both English and Korean that were sent in by BLINKs and personal fans of Rosé. The first question asked was regarding which hair color Rosé liked best after the 'pink-blonde' color.
"I liked my silver hair second-best. I thought that this was a color that I'd only be able to try once in my life, since it requires a lot of bleaching. I was excited while doing it and when I look back on photos of that time, I miss it," BLACKPINK's Rosé honestly answered.
Adding to this, BLACKPINK's Rosé was also asked about the guitar that she received as a gift from John Mayer. Notably, John Mayer previously complimented Rosé's cover of his hit track "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" on "Sea of Hope," JTBC's variety show.
"When I received this, someone from my company surprised me with it. They were like, 'We have something to give you, this is really important,' and I thought it was something very serious. She delivered it to me and said, 'John really wanted to send this to you,' and I could not believe it. I was very grateful that he reposted my cover and said very nice things about it. I am going to treasure it for life. It's the prettiest pink guitar," BLACKPINK's Rosé expressed.
BLACKPINK's Rosé also spoke about what the rock genre meant to her. The BLACKPINK member said that a lot of the songs that she listens to ever since she was a kid are under the genre of rock.
The BLACKPINK member also mentioned her interest in playing piano, her relationship with Hank (her pet dog), and Rosé also talked about BLACKPINK's fifth debut anniversary.
