Are You Ready Netizens? Red Velvet Just Announced Their Comeback Date & Concept!
It has been too long since SM Entertainment's Red Velvet released a comeback. Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri have been severely missed by both ReVeluvs (their fandom name) and netizens.
Ever since Red Velvet's Wendy took a lengthy break to recover, rightfully so, due to an accident that had occurred, the members of Red Velvet have been busy with their individual projects. Irene and Seulgi released a song and Joy & Wendy have made their solo debuts as well.
Adding to that, Yeri and Irene have been dabbling (and succeeding) in acting.
But now that Wendy has finally recovered completely, netizens and ReVeluvs have been demanding when Red Velvet will return. Finally, after a plethora of cryptic teasers, SM Entertainment's K-pop girl group has finally given official updates!
Notably, SM Entertainment's Red Velvet has not dropped new music as a complete K-pop group since December of 2019, when they dropped "The ReVe Festival: Finale" alongside its title track "Psycho".
SM Entertainment's K-pop girl group just celebrated their 7th year anniversary, and the girls will be having an online fan meeting on the 16th of August. Aside from this, it seems that this date is also special as Red Velvet will be dropping their comeback on the same day!
As per announcements, SM Entertainment's Red Velvet will be dropping their highly-anticipated comeback with their 6th mini-album entitled "Queendom" on the 16th of August!
Red Velvet's agency, SM Entertainment, made the announcement through Red Velvet's social media accounts yesterday on the 2nd of August, even posting a 9-second teaser for Red Velvet's "Queendom."
At present, the teaser has 109.3k retweets and 146.4k likes! This shows how excited fans are for Red Velvet's return!
