Stray Kids’ Lee Know & NCT’s Jungwoo Rumoured To Be ‘Music Core’ MCs, Program Responds
Being a member of SM Entertainment's NCT and its sub-groups NCT 127 and NCT U since 2018, Kim Jung Woo (aka Jungwoo) is currently one of the most popular K-pop idols of his generation. This is due to his natural charm and talent.
Furthermore, Lee Know (formerly known as Minho) is a member of JYP Entertainment's Stray Kids and also has a reputation for being charming and positive. Being a member of one of the most popular K-pop groups of his generation has surely helped Lee Know's innate personality.
Thus, the two would make a perfect pairing in terms of hosting a music show as they seem to possess a unique talent of drawing attention from netizens and fans and this might soon be reality.
Recently, Jungwoo of NCT and Lee Know of Stray Kids have been embroiled in rumors pertaining to them as the new MCs for the popular show of MBC, "Music Core."
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 16th of July, a Korean news media outlet went on to report that Jungwoo of NCT and Lee Know of Stray Kids have been dubbed as the new hosts for the popular music show of MBC.
This might happen alongside Kim Min Ju as another MC. Furthermore, it was also previously reported on the 15th of July that the final episode of Chani of SF9 as the host will be broadcasted on the 17th of July.
Following the report that was released, an insider coming from MBC revealed, "It has not been decided yet."
If this happens, STAYs (the fandom name of Stray Kids) and NCTzens (the fandom name of NCT) will surely be in for such a treat!
To add to this, due to the broadcast of the ongoing Tokyo Olympics, MBC's "Music Core" will not be broadcasting for three weeks starting on the 24th of July. MBC's "Music Core" will make their return on the 14th of August.
