Breaking! Hayley Atwell To Be Part Of 'Doctor Strange 2' As Captain Carter
Possible spoilers for the upcoming "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" plot.
As per recent reports, Hayley Atwell (known for her role as Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) will be coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the highly-anticipated Disney+ series "Marvel's What If...?"
She will be voicing the multiverse variant character; Captain Carter.
Although an incredibly fun premise, many Marvel fans have believed this was only going to be a one-time thing. But it seems as though Captain Carter is officially going to be in the upcoming Marvel movie; the "Doctor Strange" sequel "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."
A trusted insider has leaked this information on a supported news outlet, reporting that Hayley Atwell will have her Captain Carter character make the movie from animated character into live-action as she is slated to be a part of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."
Details such as how long she will appear in the movie, how big her role is, and other details have not yet been released, but her episode on "Marvel's What If...?" will open up her upcoming screen time in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."
To further enhance this data, it was noted that in the trailer for "Marvel's What If...?" There is a short scene where Captain Carter was seen in combat against a creature who has huge tentacles.
It is theorized that the tentacles belong to Shuma-Gorath, the rumored baddie in"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."
If all of this is true, it would be amazing news for Marvel fans as Peggy Carter is immensely important in the life of Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. Perhaps if Peggy Carter, or Captain Carter, is canon, there might be a chance to once again see Steve Rogers in the MCU.
