Netizens Saddened As Kim Dong Jun Confirms Military Enlistment With Announcement
Kim Dong Jun entered the industry as a member of the K-pop group ZE:A which debuted in 2010. Currently, Dong Jun is known as an established actor as well aside from being famous as a singer.
As of writing this article, Kim Dong Jun's most recent role was being part of the cast on SBS's show "Delicious Rendezvous."
Recently, on the 23rd of June, MAJOR9, Kim Dong Jun's company shared that the singer-actor will be enlisting on the 12th of July to serve his mandatory military service as a soldier.
Moreover, happening on the same day as well, Kim Dong Jun did a live broadcast on Naver V Live. There, he expressed his thoughts on his anticipated military enlistment.
Kim Dong Jun revealed, "These days, I have been eating well and doing fine. I gained some weight and then lost it very quickly, so I am still a bit swollen. I gained 4 kilograms and then I lost 2 kilograms in quick succession."
In the broadcast, Kim Dong Jun was asked by a fan who wondered about Kim Dong Jun's experience in the popular variety show "Real Men." The actor answered by expressing that he worked hard during "Real Men," and that he did the best that he could in the given moment.
"I am now enlisting, and I feel fine. Since I am going late, I wanted to tell everyone through this live broadcast today, but everyone heard the news a bit early. I feel very comfortable, and I gained a lot of weight because I ate a lot," Kim Dong Jun went on to add.
The actor even jokingly said that he plans to eat a lot until his military enlistment and then enlist in the military a little chubbier.
Giving his fans a proper send-off, Kim Dong Jun shared that for him, as a man of South Korea, he will complete his military duty and return with a good, more mature, and dignified image. He even urged fans not to worry as he promised that he will return safely.
