Why BLACKPINK’s Lisa Got An A+ For Strictness From ‘Youth With You 3’ Trainees
Since being a mentor in "Youth With You 3", BLACKPINK's main dancer, Lisa, showcased more than just her skills in dancing, Lisa also showed how good of a mentor she is to her trainees. Known to be hard on her students, here is why BLACKPINK's Lisa teaches the way she does.
Like most mentors, when her students are performing in a lackluster way, BLACKPINK's Lisa goes direct to the point. This was obvious when Lisa told the trainees, "Tomorrow you will be on stage, but you are still making mistakes."
During the 22nd episode of "Youth With You 3", the trainees of the show were tasked to give BLACKPINK's Lisa a rating in terms of being a mentor.
Among the categories, 'strictness' was slated for the mentors and understandably, the trainees gave BLACKPINK's Lisa an A+ on the category. With her strictness, Lisa's trainees were able to grow and improve.
Adorably, BLACKPINK's Lisa simply shrugged off the rating saying whether or not she should be happy.
Nonchalantly, BLACKPINK's Lisa opened up as to why she is somewhat 'strict' with her trainees. Currently, she is one of the most popular and best dancers in K-pop to date. BLACKPINK's Lisa attained this due to learning from extremely strict mentors.
BLACKPINK's Lisa then explained that she is not as hard on the trainees compared to how others could be. "I am not half the level of strictness to trainees, no matter if it is in terms of severity or strictness."
For BLACKPINK's Lisa, she really improved and grew from how strict her previous dance instructors were. Thus, Lisa aims to be the same when she teaches others in dancing.
Although serious in class, BLACKPINK's Lisa is an extremely down-to-earth sweetheart. After classes, Lisa shared that she is kind.
With that statement, the "Youth With You 3" trainees went on to agree.
Chen Yugeng, more commonly known as Crayon, agreed that BLACKPINK's Lisa is truly nice. Whenever they got an injury or if Lisa thinks they are sick, Lisa would almost immediately ask the trainees to take a break.
