The premiere fourth-generation K-pop girl group of JYP Entertainment, ITZY, made their comeback on the 30th of April with their album "GUESS WHO" which had six new songs

Once again, ITZY's Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna slayed in their music video for the album's title song, "마.피.아. In the morning" or "Mafia In the morning."

JYP Entertainment was able to release teasers, promotions and was also featured in variety shows earlier than usual for ITZY's recent "GUESS WHO," and initially, netizens were getting grouchy, even commenting that JYP Entertainment was copying BTS.

Regardless of the comments, MIDZYs and JYP Nation were quick to support ITZY, both since the beginning of the teasers until recently during the release.

With the release of their comeback, JYP Entertainment's ITZY dropped the music video for the title track of their album on the 30th of April Friday.

Recently, ITZY had an interview with Billboard, and the girl group shared the new concept they were trying in their latest album and answered multiple other questions.

"We wanted to show a different side of us and keep our fans excited for new music," ITZY's leader, Yeji, announced.

ITZY's dancer, Chaeryeong, went on to add that they set the goal of showing MIDZYs, the name of their fans, new music as often as possible, and with this album, they really focused and immersed themselves in the new music and lyrics while recording and preparing the new material.

"I think this album shows we've matured and broadened our material compared to Not Shy. This album is a different mix of music genres, and I think the material has been diversified," ITZY's Ryujin went on to add.

The girls of ITZY also shared how this COVID-19 pandemic has affected them.

The ITZY main vocalist, Lia, went on to share that the pandemic made her think of new ways to communicate with the fans. As everyone is limited to online communications these days, she tries to post or chat with their fans more often and think more about what type of content their fans would like to see.

"I think the pandemic has given me a chance to grow up a bit. It's been a hard time for everyone. The pandemic has challenged me to try various media contents to reach out to our fans. It's been important to me to keep the connection," Yuna, ITZY's maknae, commented.
