American heavy metal band "Five Finger Death Punch's" tour in Milan has been cancelled Sunday night due to rumors of a terror attack, according to BBC.

In a Facebook post, the band told fans that the show could be hit by a next wave of terror attacks and that they have been working with a local promoter and authorities, in efforts to boost security. That being said, "Five Finger death Punch" tour in Milan has been postponed.

The band has admitted that they could not ensure the safety of their fans at the show.

The threat was uncovered by online activists, "Anonymous": the "hacktivists" reported plots for terrorist attacks to be carried out by the Islamic State, on the United States, Paris, Indonesia, Lebanon and Italy, revealed IBT.

"Anonymous" sub-group, "OpParisIntel" published a statement revealing they have discovered details about an impending ISIS attack.

According to the online activists, the Islamic State plans to attack multiple venues in Paris, the Al-Jihad in Indonesia, a global celebration by the Catholic Church, the WWE event at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Pastoral Day in Lebanon and the "Five Finger Death Punch" gig in Milan.

"The goal is to make sure the whole world, or at least the people going to these events, know that there have been threats and that there is possibility of an attack to happen," published "Anonymous" in a statement.

Atlanta-based television reporter, Mark Winne reported that the FBI is taking the threat seriously and is planning to release a statement on the situation.

"Another goal is to make sure Daesh (ISIS' arabic name) knows that the world knows and cancels the attacks, which will disorientate them for a while," added the online activists.

"Anonymous" has heightened its online assault on the Islamic State by taking down one of the terrorists' most important forums.

According to an investigation by Foreign Policy, the "hacktivists" claimed they have closed down 5,900 propaganda videos, 101,000 Twitter accounts and 149 websites belonging to IS.

While the events are cancelled in Milan, "Five Finger Death Punch's" tour in Europe is still ongoing, and the band plans to play more dates, reported Loudwire. In the band's latest statement, the group said that they are analyzing each date as they continue.
