Last year in December of 2020, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK's vocalist, Rosé, will have her solo debut coming first with Lisa, coming right after her.

On the 12th of March, BLACKPINK's main vocalist and resident New Zealand native, Rosé, had a highly successful solo debut.

Jennie's solo debut with "Solo," which was released back on the 12th of November in 2018, was the first member to debut, and now Rosé is the second member of YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK to make her solo debut.

In her music video for "On The Ground," the BLACKPINK vocalist showcased her visuals, vocals, and overall talent. BLACKPINK's Rosé officially made her solo debut with her music video at exactly 0 AM Eastern Standard Time. Within a day, approximately twenty-three hours after its upload, the MV for "On The Ground'' was able to make over 38 million hits.

Now that Rosé's debut came to fruition, BLINK's are now demanding information on when Lisa's debut will unfold.

Lisa has been doing personal projects recently, such as photoshoots and many more. As her fans have been supporting her nonstop, BLINKs are still eager to find out when she will have her solo debut. Unfortunately, only speculations have been released so far. Even Lisa has not spoken up about it.

As everyone is eagerly waiting for her solo debut, BLACKPINK's Lisa spoke up for the first time about her highly anticipated solo debut.

In a recent live broadcast, which was compiled by a fan in a YouTube video, Lisa was doing a virtual fan signing. As the broadcast went on, one BLINK (the fandom name of BLACKPINK) inquired on when the Thai dancer would release her solo projects and if Lisa could give hints on when it would happen.

Initially being shocked by the question from the fan, Lisa then reacted cutely by answering, "I can't!" Lisa then went on to give a message to her fans by saying, "Please wait for a little more and it is coming soon."

It is noted that BLACKPINK Lisa seemed more comfortable talking about her solo. Although no specifics have been dropped by Lisa herself, by saying "coming soon" means that it is almost about to drop!
