JYP Entertainment's premiere third-gen K-pop girl group, TWICE, is well known all throughout the world. In all the seven seas and reaches of the globe, their music has traveled near and far South Korea. Recently, this had proven to be true when TWICE made a breakthrough only one other K-pop group has achieved.

The extended play entitled "Twicecoaster" is TWICE's third EP. The EP came out in October 2016, and the extended play contains their hit song entitled "TT." The song is one of TWICE's most famous and well-known songs since their debut.

Moreover, "Twicecoaster" became TWICE's best-selling release for the year 2016 after it sold a total of 350,852 copies worldwide. To add to the album's fame, the album's main song, "TT," was noted as one of the best-performing singles of 2016.

"TT" even ranked number one on the Gaon Digital Chart for a whopping four weeks straight. Recently, it seems as though "Twicecoaster" is not done yet.

Oricon Album Chart's rankings are solely based on physical album sales of an entertainer. Additionally, Oricon Inc. regularly releases daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly rankings of the best-selling albums in the whole of Japan.

On the 1st of April, Oricon announced the latest Weekly Album Chart for the week dated the 5th of April. It is known that the data from this ranking were taken from the 22nd of March to the 28th of March.

For that aforementioned week, TWICE's EP titled "Twicecoaster" has managed to sell an additional 345 copies. This means TWICE was able to claim the 188th spot on the previously mentioned chart.

In total, as of writing this article, JYP Entertainment's girl group has now sold around 146,081 copies of "Twicecoaster" in Japan. This happened in the fourth week of March. Essentially, TWICE's EP "Twicecoaster" was able to peak on the Oricon chart at 10th place.

This means that this is TWICE's 200th time to make the Oricon Weekly Album Chart with their EP "Twicecoaster." Due to this, TWICE has now become only the second K-pop group to stick on the chart for 200 weeks continuously (three years and eight months). The first K-pop group being BTS with their album entitled "Wings" back in 2016.

Congratulations to TWICE!
