SM Entertainment's most popular active girl group, Red Velvet, composed of members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri, are rumored to have a comeback this year. SM Entertainment's CEO Lee Sung-soo noted this in a press conference as the group has been on hiatus since Wendy's accident in 2019.

While Red Velvet's Wendy was recovering, Red Velvet was debuting sub-groups and doing individual projects. The individual projects were mainly Irene's movie and Yeri's talk show, "Yeri's Room."

With regards to Yeri, Red Velvet's maknae, "Yeri's Room" (which aired from June 7 to December 8 of 2020), was successful enough to garner a second season which was supposed to be released this 2021. But with recent reports, DUM DUM Studio has confirmed that Yeri's YouTube talk show has been canceled.

During last year in May of 2020, SM Entertainment shared that Yeri will be hosting her own show on YouTube via DUM DUM Studio "Yeri's Room." The first season lasted 24 episodes and had a plethora of popular stars such as TWICE's Nayeon, fellow Red Velvet member Irene, Sandara Park, and more.

Lasting 24 episodes, "Yeri's Room" ended its first season in December 2020. But luckily, Yeri later shared that her show was renewed for a second season and was scheduled to air on YouTube anytime around February 2021.

Sadly, on the official Instagram page for "Yeri's Room," it was posted that the reality show's second season had been abruptly canceled due to "unforeseen business circumstances" with SM Culture & Contents.

DUM DUM Studio's post with regards to the cancellation is as follow:

"Hello, it's Dum Dum Studio.

The production of Yeri's Room Season 2 has been canceled due to unforeseen business circumstances of SM C&C.

We feel sorry to tell you this, knowing how much you have been waiting for the new season.

We'll always support our lovely partner Yeri and wish her the best of luck.

We'll be back with other good programs.

Thank you."

Fans are still expecting a turnover of results, but it seems final in the meantime.
