Blizzard has announced that "Overwatch" closed beta will be adding more players to join this weekend, according to IGN.

The closed beta phase began not a long while ago and only a few players were chosen through invites. Blizzard warned players to be wary of fake keys being distributed by shady websites. Also, it was announced that the multiplayer shooter game will be coming to the consoles and it will not be free to play. The closed beta phase is still continuing to improve it for final release.

Now Blizzard has announced that they are going to invite more players to the closed beta testing this weekend so they can stress test the team-based shooter, according to sources.

"During this three-day event, we'll be opening up Overwatch beta (for a limited time) to a lot more players from our Americas and Europe gameplay regions" in order to "help us stress test our server hardware and technology," said Blizzard on a statement.

The beta event will start this Friday, Nov. 20 at 9 a.m. and will end on Monday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. This will be three whole days of stress testing the game, according to Destructoid.

"To help us get the most out of this testing phase, we will be flagging accounts for the Beta Test Weekend a little early, during a scheduled maintenance on Thursday, November 19," said Blizzard. "We encourage all new recruits to use this additional time to download and install the beta client so you can be ready for action once servers come back online."

Those who have already joined the "Overwatch" closed beta can join anytime on the test weekend. Players will be able to choose the full roster and can play three maps which are Hanamura, Watchpoint: Gibraltar and King's Row, according to Polygon.

"Overwatch" will have its final release in Spring 2016, according to Game Rant.
