BTS Comeback 2019: K-Pop Superstars Drop Teaser Photos For New Album 'Map of the Soul: Persona' + 'Magic Shop' Fan Meeting Poster
BTS has released the first two sets of teaser photos for their upcoming album Map of the Soul: Persona. Additionally, the "Fake Love" singers also dropped the first poster for their Magic Shop fan meeting in June.
The multi-awarded K-pop group gifted their fans with over 100 group and solo images. As suggested by the title of their upcoming album, the images also show dozens of personas of BTS and its members.
The version 1 of the concept photos show the goofy side of BTS. In the group snaps, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are seen playing around inside a photo booth. It also features individual snaps of the septet.
V is taking selcas using a phone and a selfie stick, Suga holds a camera while Jungkook munching chocolate chip cookies. RM is also seen with all confetti and fabric, Jin is serious with his morning routine, Jimin's hair static with a balloon, and J-Hope playing with a toy gun.
The second version of teaser photos showcases the group as they preparing in a bathroom. It also accompanied by more than 20 individual of each member, looking handsome in dazzling styles and hair colors as they groom themselves in front of a mirror. See the concept photos below.
Map of the Soul: Persona is the first album of BTS this year. It is their follow up to the chart-topping Love Yourself: Answer which was released in August 2018. BTS also dropped last week the comeback trailer for Map of the Soul: Persona and it featured group leader RM.
Map of the Soul: Persona is slated to drop on April 12, just a few days before Time Magazine announce this year's winner of TIME 100: The World's Most Influential People. BTS is once again nominated this year. The group won the top place last year.
The voting began on March 27. It will run until April 16 at midnight EST. The publication will release the full TIME 100 list on April 18.
Meanwhile, BTS also shared a poster for their 5th Muster fan meeting, titled Magic Shop. In the poster, the boys look surprised by the content of the magic shop.
The septet is set to meet with their fans at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 15 and 16. BTS will also be with the ARMY and at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena on June 22 and 23.
