GOT7 has walked a long, bumpy road before they achieve success and member BamBam still remembers the hard times they have been through during their debut year. In the recent episode of reality show GOT7's Real Thai, BamBam got emotional when recalling the time they are struggling to make a name in the K-pop world.

In the GOT7 reality show at XtvN, BamBam and bandmates Mark, Jinyoung, and Youngjae travel to Thailand. In the recent episode, BamBam headed to Pha Taem National Park to watch the sunrise.

While admiring the beauty of the sunrise, the Thai singer became overwhelmed with emotion and begun comparing the majestic scene in front of him to his band's story. BamBam recalled the first three years of GOT7 where they have undergone so much suffering and hardship while finding success in a highly competitive industry.

But BamBam said through hard work and teamwork, they rise to the top and now one of most-beloved K-pop groups. However, BamBam believes that they still have lots of work to do to achieve their goals and dreams. The idol also expressed his hope that GOT7 and their fans will continue to be together for a long period of time.

"If we keep working hard and moving forward like this, then I don't think it will be long until we reach the dreams we haven't yet realized and the goals we haven't yet achieved. We're almost there. We just need to go a little bit farther," he said.

GOT7 fans, also called the iGOT7s, know that BamBam, in particular, had a hard time as an idol because of being a non-Korean artist. He has received backlash in the past for his comments or action. The latest of which is when some international K-pop fans misinterpreted Bambam's words during one of GOT7's VLive session and accused him of being a racist.

In June 2018, he was also accused of being racially inappropriate. He was criticized when he shared a photo of him imitating Chadwick Boseman's "Wakanda Forever" salute from the Marvel movie Black Panther. In all of it, BamBam defended himself and iGOT7 continues to support him.

Meanwhile, apart from watching BamBam in GOT7's Real Thai , iGOT7s in Thailand could also see him live in person in his upcoming fan meeting. The singer is set to kick off his first solo fan meeting tour, titled BLACK FEATHER, in his home country from March 3 to 17. The singer/entrepreneur is scheduled to meet his fans in Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
